Worth watching The Thinking Game with Demis Hassabis.
Comparing to the reaction the world would have, if contact was made with an alien life form… There would be immediate panic, high level conversations between world leaders, probably a lot of people partying naked in the desert.
This is alien technology, and it has landed. We don't yet know if the aliens are going to teach us secrets of the universe that our meaty pink brains can't comprehend, or just harvest our innards. Either way, it's going to be exciting.
Looking forward to seeing how deep the rabbit-hole goes in 2026. B.
